Pool Hayes Primary School is celebrating after receiving an FFT National School Attendance Award for the 2025/26 academic year, recognising the school among the top 25% most improved FFT primary schools in England.
This is a fantastic achievement for our school community. Thank you to our pupils, parents, carers and staff for working together to improve attendance and help children make the most of their education.
Behind this award is something far more important than a certificate: more opportunities for children to learn, build friendships and succeed.
Every school day brings opportunities
Each day at Pool Hayes gives children the chance to discover something new, practise a skill, share ideas and feel proud of their achievements. Lessons build on previous learning, so attending regularly helps children keep up, grow in confidence and feel ready for their next challenge.
School is also where friendships grow and children develop teamwork, independence and a sense of belonging. From a breakthrough in reading to a shared success on the playground, the small moments in a school day can make a lasting difference.
Working together to keep improving
Families can help by making daily attendance and arriving on time part of a settled routine, preparing bags and uniforms the night before, and talking positively about the school day.
We recognise that illness and other difficulties can sometimes prevent children from attending. If your child is worried about school or your family is experiencing difficulties affecting attendance, please speak to us early. We want to listen, understand and work with you to find support.
This award gives us plenty to celebrate—and every reason to keep building on our progress.
Thank you for helping make every school day count at Pool Hayes Primary!
