Year 4 – Cherry

During our second term in Year 4, we are looking at improving our recall speed for our multiplication facts as we approach the June MTC. So far, all children have not only shown amazing commitment to their learning but also wonderful progress. Keep rocking, Year 4!

This term, we will be learning about Italy and volcanoes in our Geography lessons, comparing one an Italian region to our own, In Science, our focus point will be electricity for the first part of the term while in the second part we are looking at living things and their habitats, venturing into our nature garden for observations and exploration.

Our PE days will remain Tuesday (indoor – however, we will be making the best out of any dry day and try to do PE outside) and Friday (outdoor). On these days, the children will arrive in school wearing their PE kit and wearing a t-shirt in their house’s colour. Please ensure that any type of jewellery remains at home on those days to avoid them getting lost or forgotten in the classroom. Our PE units this term will cover skills from Dance, Tennis, Gymnastics and Rounders.
