LimbBo Foundation Charity Event
Rotakids were approached by a member of our school community to ask if they could raise money to support a small charity called LimbBo Foundation. LimbBo supports children with limb differences, one of whom, Phoebe, is very close to our PHP community.
RotaKids planned a small event where every child (and visitor) was asked to bring in a coin to fill in the chalk outline of the word LimbBo. The event was originally planned to take place outside, but the weather was against us so we improvised and took over Nursery!
The whole school came in, a class at a time, to add their coins to the outline. RotaKids supported the children. They all had the opportunity to meet Phoebe, to see her prosthetic lower leg and to ask questions.
We were thrilled that our community, with the support of Willenhall Rotary Club, raised £525!
